Application of metallic coatings and coverings
Pure Mettal

Step 1. Cleaning and preparation of the support.We must ensure that it is well bonded, dry and if necessary sanded. Vacuum to leave the support clean.

Step 2. Priming.Apply a coat of primer
Primacem ABS
(absorbent support) or
Primacem PLUS
(non-absorbent support). Allow to dry for about 1 hour.

Step 3. Decoration. Mix component A and component B of the finish
Pure Mettal
chosen
(Bronze, Aluminium, Iridium, Brass o Copper).
Apply two coats, allowing to dry between 2 and 4 hours between layers. Allow to dry for 24 hours.

Step 4A. Metallic finish and sealer.In the case of wanting a metallic finish, once the surface is decorated and polished, apply two coats of the sealer
Topsealer WT One Coat
to protect the support (allowing 24 hours to dry between applications). Allow to dry for 24 hours.

Step 4B. Oxidised finish and sealerIn the case of preferring a rusted finish, once the surface is decorated and polished,
Mettal Activator
to accelerate oxidation and sand. Then apply two coats of
Presealer
(leaving 4 hours in between) and sanding. Finally, protect the surface with two coats of the sealer.
Topsealer WT One Coat
(24 hours between coats). Allow to dry for 24 hours.
